We are Cartology

Cartology is the Woolworths Group’s new stand-alone retail media business. Customer behaviour is changing. By combining our rich customer knowledge with our diverse media channels we can make sure products are being shown to the right customers, at the right place, at exactly the right time. Our point of difference is that we are part of Australia’s largest retailer allowing us to provide unparalleled career opportunities.

You will play a key role in building a compelling product vision that not only drives informed business decisions but also empowers Cartology to be the most strategic media partner to brands through valuable and actionable insights. Success in this role is contingent on your strong collaboration with senior stakeholders as we lead a trusted narrative around retail media measurement. As a key member of the product leadership team, you will also partner with Group Product Managers from various technology teams to establish a harmonised roadmap for Cartology’s comprehensive platform suite.

  • Define the product value proposition, based on deep understanding of business and user needs alongside analysis of market and competitor landscape
  • Oversee the development and evolution of Carology data product suites including business intelligence, insights and data services & transformation
  • Establish success metrics and evaluate the performance of the Data Products against those measures and targets
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Product Managers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture within the data product organization
  • Work with Group Product Managers in other product streams to ensure a consistent roadmap across all Cartology’s platform suite

What you'll bring

To be successful in the role, you need to demonstrate:

  • Strong knowledge in advertising technologies (both demand and supply sides) and experience in the media or marketing industry
  • Proven experience (7+ years) in a leadership role within data product management.
