Our purpose is to create fun at trusted destinations and our aim is to deliver sustainable outcomes for our guests, our Team Members, the communities in which we exist and our shareholders. We do this by providing entertainment, gaming, and leisure experiences in a safe, responsible, and ethical way. We will do this by embedding our values to lead the organisation with a focus on safer gambling and good business practices.

Our properties across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney are world-class with many award-winning hotels, restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues.

As our Senior Entertainment Manager, your role will involve developing and executing entertainment strategies that leverage the unique selling points of The Star Sydney, targeting differentiated customer segments to drive visitation and utilisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity where you will drive the success of our activations and events for The Star Sydney.

A few of your responsibilities:

  • Schedule and book all local and international talent and assist in Marketing communications for The Star Sydney, on a weekly basis.
  • Manage all contracts in procuring the talent for The Star Sydney venues on a weekly basis, ensuring the contracting and finance process is aligned to any/all internal TSEG and Group procurement
  • Present commercial recommendations for allocation of Sydney Property entertainment budgets
  • Host talent and ensure talent requirements meet The Star's compliance and regulations

What we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the music and entertainment industry, specifically in a role related to artist or talent management
  • Expertise in managing business planning and project deliverables.
  • Proven ability to coordinate and oversee cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and securing new and emerging artists, with a keen eye for talent
  • Experience in the pre-opening and launch of a large-scale hotel or casino is a bonus

About you:

You will possess a strong background in talent management, with expertise in booking local and international artists. Your innovative thinking keeps you ahead of industry trends, allowing you to deliver exciting and fresh entertainment experiences.

Your role will be pivotal in orchestrating a seamless integration of talent and entertainment across The Star Sydney venues.

What can we offer you?

  • Complimentary meal on site every day, including hot meals, sandwich bar and more
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Up to 30% discounts across award winning restaurants and accommodation
  • Lifestyle discounts including gym memberships and dry-cleaning services
  • Mental Health and Wellbeing services
  • Diversity & Inclusion areas of focus including Multicultural, Gender, Aboriginal & Torres Strait islander and LGBTQI+
  • Endless career growth and opportunities to learn and develop your career
