We are looking for an experienced Group Property Manager to join our Business Development Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview
The Group Property Manager is responsible for overseeing Flinders Port Holdings land including lease negotiations including liaising with Government, recoveries and the property management obligations of FPH Group. The Group Property Manager is accountable for contributing to the FPH Master Plan, strategy planning and optimisation, acquisition/disposal identification, whilst ensuring all property agreements are negotiated, maintained, and effectively managed.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse, control and coordinate the function of timely recoveries of rents and other income related to property and ensure that government rates and taxes are paid and recovered where possible by FPH Group for all property in the portfolio;
- Develop, negotiate, maintain, and manage comprehensive property strategies and agreements to preserve Flinders Port Holdings Group Property interests;
- Develop and prepare reports for the Group Executive Business Development and or other General Managers as required on real estate and property related matters;
- Be a mentor for the Business Development Support Officer;
- Provide technical advice and solutions across all property and land related matters; and
- Build and maintain relationships with key client groups, major external customers, relevant government departments and internal stakeholders to develop solutions and create business development solutions.
About you
Your skills and experience will include;
- Previous experience in commercial lease management;
- Previous legal experience is highly regarded but not essential:
- Sound knowledge of property management principles and practices including legislative requirements;
- Strong portfolio management skills;
- Financial management skills including budget preparation and management;
- Strong stakeholder relationships building and management including negotiation skills; and
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills including the ability to write business cases, justifications, and investment rationales.
