Group Reporting Accountant

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial reporting.

The Role

As the Group Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial reporting purposes. Key responsibilities include:

• Consolidate monthly group results
• Consolidate budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure
• Manage end of month reporting processes
• Liaise with corporate head office
• Ensure financial data integrity through identification, resolution, and disclosure of reporting issues
• Maintain system procedures and controls to ensure reliable reporting
• Prepare internal and external audit supporting documents
• Reconcile general ledger for corporate group entities
• Track overheads and allocate/recharge to different group entities
• Conduct financial variance analysis and undertake ad-hoc projects

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or related field
• CPA/CA qualification or currently pursuing
• Experience with SAP desirable
• Familiarity with accounting standards, legislative requirements, and practices within a commercial environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Positive attitude, reliability, and commitment to proactive work ethic
