Our client is a leading Financial Services institution going through significant growth and transformation. We are currently looking for an experience risk and compliance professional for their Enterprise Risk function.
You will be working in a hands-on environment and be involved in the upliftment and building up of the enterprise risk function, particularly regarding policies and frameworks.
Please note – this is an on-site role.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of the enterprise risk management Framework and programs
- Developing and implementing the enterprise risk register and risk appetite statement (RAS). Integrating these to the overall strategy, ensuring all risk types are identified, assessed, and managed effectively.
- Conducting enterprise risk assessments, mitigation, and monitoring
- Policy development and implementation
- Ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the enterprise risk policy and procedure repository, ensuring document owners meet their responsibilities
- Keeping up to date with legislative and regulatory changes and assessing the impact to the business
- Circa 5-8+ years of experience within enterprise risk and compliance function
- Financial services background, ideally in banking, insurance, or superannuation
- Prior experience building up and implementing risk and compliance frameworks is ideal
- Pragmatic and hands-on approach, self-starter and driven
- Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
