Currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment. About the role As a Procurement Manager, you will exercise a considerable degree of independence to engage in very complex problem solving and issues management within the procurement and contract management functions. In addition, your key duties are as follow:Working collaboratively with business areas as a procurement business partner, and managing a team to develop market approach documentation, evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts. Lead an integrated approach to identifying procurement requirements early in the process, including supporting the planning activities within the wider team. Ensure procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirementsDeliver support and advice in relation to compliance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Agency policies and procedures.
