Join our team as a qualified Gym Instructor at Moss Vale War Memorial Aquatic Centre!

If you are passionate about inspiring community activity we want to hear from you!

Our Gym Instructors are the main point of contact for our members and guests using our health club facilities. We are looking for someone who has a vibrant and friendly personality, with excellent communication skills that motivate our members to achieve their personal health and wellness goals.  A typical shift would include:

• Welcoming members and casual users to the Health Club
• Facilitating member orientation and education sessions
• Fostering and providing a strong customer service focus
• Increasing member retention through constant engagement and a consistent approach to excellent service.
• Delivery of Group Training classes.

We are looking for people who have:

• Excellent communication skills to effectively develop a professional and friendly rapport with our members.
• Great attention to detail
• Prior operational experience and knowledge of health and fitness programming in a community facility.
• Outstanding interpersonal, leadership and management skills.
• The ability to demonstrate great drive, growth, ambition and customer experience.
• A positive attitude in order to be able to encourage an optimistic and great cultured working environment.
• Excellent written communication skills to effectively prepare and develop individual programs and other documentation. 
• Ability and flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends, after hours and public holidays.

Relevant Qualifications:

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Certificate IV in Fitness or above
• Working with Children Check
• Fitness Australia Registration
• Diploma in Fitness or relevant degree level qualification
• Qualifications in Group Fitness and Training highly regarded
• Experience with MyWellness Suite and MyWellness for Professionals highly regarded
