Job Title:Gym Receptionist and Fitness Class Instructor

Location: Lismore, Northern Rivers

Position Type: Part-Time approx 30hrs per week

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Gym Receptionist and Fitness Class Instructor. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Gym Reception and Customer Service:

• Welcome and assist members and guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide information about our facilities and services.
• Handle membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, and payments.
• Ensure the reception area is clean and organized.
• Commit to ensuring a clean gym environment for our members
• Ensure the gym floor cleanliness is maintained at a high standard

Fitness Class Instruction:

• Lead group fitness classes, including but not limited to aerobics,  and circuit training.
• Create and deliver engaging and effective workout routines.
• Motivate and assist participants, ensuring they have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Sales and Administration:

• Utilize your sales skills to promote memberships, personal training, and fitness classes.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
• Handle inquiries related to billing and account management.

Certification and Knowledge:

• Hold a Certificate III in Fitness.
• Stay updated on fitness trends and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Passion for fitness and a strong commitment to a healthy lifestyle.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent cleaning skills
• Sales and administrative experience is favorable.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Must be energetic, motivated, and reliable.
