Rydges Norwest Sydney located minutes from the Norwest Metro & directly off Windsor Road offers 132 accommodation rooms, 7 Function spaces and a 80 seat restaurant.
We are currently looking for an energetic and experienced Hotel Handyman to assist maintain the hotel and surrounds. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing an effective maintenance service to all departments in the Hotel.
Located in the Norwest Business park, the hotel has easy accessibility from both the M2 and M4 as well as offering complimentary parking for all guests and staff.

Our Hotel Handyman will be able to:
- Assist in providing an effective maintenance service to all departments. This includes hands-on work as well as delegating tasks to contractors.
- Assist in ensuring the building and surrounds, plant, machinery and equipment is maintained and operates at the most efficient and productive level possible following all OH&S and AU standards.
- Identifying areas of improvement within the hotel and to carry out preventative maintenance plans that are put in place.
- Respond to and carry out all inter departmental or guest requests concerning defects, repairs and / or general assistance.
Skills and Experience:
- Any trade experience will be beneficial to this role
- Experience working in the Maintenance Department within a hotel
- Experience in property maintence.
- An understanding of OH & S procedures and best practise.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Well organised and can manage time effectively.
- Can work cohesively within a team environment.
- Customer service experience.
