We have an exciting opportunity in the Corporate Applications, Human Capital Management (HCM) team for a HCM Reporting Specialist to work on one of the largest HCM Data Migrations in Australia from on-premise to Oracle HCM Cloud.
Reporting into HCM Reporting Lead you shall be working with different project streams across the full project lifecycle and actively manage key stages from design to deployment activities. The role shall involve data analysis, research, explore reporting product features, design and document solution, validate and manage vendor issues and escalations. You shall be engaging with multiple levels of stakeholders to achieve package deliverables and supporting the operational team in embedding ‘live’ packages of work. Providing analytical expertise and specialist HCM Cloud product reporting knowledge to enable others with internal training or mentoring. You shall be engaging with multi-layered stakeholder groups to design robust business solutions in an integrated HCM Cloud environment.

What you will do
As an integral member of the Human Capital Management (HCM) team, you will:
- Elicit business reporting requirements by using a broad range of effective engagement techniques, including designing, leading and facilitating workshops with the various stakeholders (internal, external, vendor, business, and technical) to understand and clarify business issues and develop reporting solutions to meet business needs.
- Design enhanced business reporting systems by providing accurate information about business needs, priorities and adopting contemporary analysis best-practice methodologies and processes.
- Preparing a broad range of documentation through the program lifecycle to meet governance requirements.
- Prepare and carry out solution testing and assist with go-live support and maintenance management.
- Contribute to and analyse HR reporting strategies and convert into optimal short and long term reporting solutions.
- Generate statistics on existing HR data for data analysis and decision making.
- Develop suitable communications, review training and change management materials about relevant HCM systems and solutions.
- Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure project deliverables are met.
- Foster and sustain strategic partnerships across teams, Directorates, the wider Health agencies and relevant external agencies.
- Provide leadership for solution development to team members and effectively manage operational issues to ensure continuous effective service delivery and a performance based, innovative, responsive and accountable customer focused work culture.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:
- The ability to communicate, build, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in a huge and dynamic team environment.
- Extensive experience managing the review, analyses and design of HR reporting suite/s within a large complex ICT business and/or service. This includes demonstrated experience in improving HR business reporting performance by adopting innovative business solutions.
- Experience in the development, support and operationalisation of cloud-based HR reporting systems, preferably Oracle HCM Cloud using OTBI and BI Publisher to Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) and Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC); Ability to creatively solution, document, troubleshoot issues, and take appropriate action when opportunities for improvement, or risks are identified. An understanding of data warehousing and data lineage concepts and underlying metadata will be an advantage.
- The ability to innovate within existing systems, fostering a growth mindset, and commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
