Successful applicant must be experienced enough to manage/oversee a large gluten free bakery. It is fine if you do not have much actual gluten-free experience as we can take you through the differences. Many of the basics are the same.
You will be experienced enough to lead and train our bakers in :
i) bread baking from scratch including sourdough & cultures - wholesale & retail. We have a large wholesale operation
ii) patisserie baking - wholesale & retail. We have a small on-site retail shop.
iii) packing and distribution
v) ordering and maintaining stock levels
vi) health and safety requirements
vii) HACCP requirements
viii) new staff selection, management & training.
You will need basic computer skills to produce updated daily baking lists for the bakers and pastry chefs, and distribution lists for the wholesale orders.
Must have experience managing large bakeries.
Must have permanent residency and full time work rights.
Must have high English skills.
