About the Role:
We are in search of an experienced Head Barista to lead the team at our iconic Brickworks venue. The ideal candidate will be experienced, passionate, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to lead a team of baristas to deliver an exceptional customer experience. They will be responsible for ensuring that coffee quality and service meet Rombe standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Develop, train, and manage a team of baristas.
Manage the coffee program, including liaising with the roastery, implementing recipes, maintaining service standards, and communication.
Manage retail offerings and ensure high-standard visual merchandising.
Deliver an outstanding hospitality experience through barista craftsmanship and customer engagement.
Lead the team during shifts, organizing breaks, approving time sheets, etc.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
A customer-focused approach to specialty coffee.
Minimum of two years' experience as a Head Barista in specialty coffee.
Strong experience in developing and managing a team to deliver high-quality, consistent specialty coffee.
Experience working with a variety of machines and brewing styles.
A strong understanding of extraction profiling and recipe implementation.
Excellent latte art skills and the ability to train others.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Clear and effective communication skills.
Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
