M|Arts Precinct in Murwillumbah is a unique destination offering visitors a chance to both interact with artists and browse their creations in hybrid retail/studio settings. Since its inception, the precinct has also grown to incorporate award-winning dining destinations, services and unique events that bring people from around Australia to our doors.
We have created a new and exciting cafe/bar offering, set to activate the heart of the industrial style artists quarters. This exciting venue is yet to be named and will launch in stages. An espresso bar, cocktail/wine bar, and music venue in Stage 1 and the fully serviced events kitchen in Stage 2 (Mid 2024).
We are on the lookout for bar superstars to help launch big and expand from there. You will be working closely with the Bar & Cafe manager in curating seasonal beverage menus to keep things fresh & Exciting for our regular clientele base.
The Bar is currently open 2 evenings a week (closed Sunday and Monday) plus events with plans to extend hours come stage 2. The bar appeals to locals and attracts new visitors to Murwillumbah daily. The venue caters to those who would like to wind down the week listening to well curated music, D’J’s and large size events such as Music After Dark. With a focus on quality F&B and neighbourly service, contemporary cocktails, locally brewed beer and snappy natural wines are served alongside snacks and classics.

About You:
- A love for all things hospitality.
- Minimum 2 years experience working a fast-paced bar environment.
- Extensive wine, spirit and cocktail knowledge advantageous.
- Premium cocktail making skills.
- Responsible and reliable, and committed to maintaining a clean and tidy work space
- Must have a positive, people-first approach to customer service.
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, team focused environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High standards in taste and presentation with a personal flair.
- Must have an NSW RSA certificate.
- Available Thursday to Saturday evenings.
- Must have own transport.
