Position Details
The College is seeking an inspired and enthusiastic educator to join our Science Learning Area.
As a teacher in a Catholic School, staff must be supportive of the ethos of the College, committed to the genuine pastoral care of students, with the ability to foster student engagement to improve educational outcomes for all.
This is a full-time, fixed term position for Term Three, 15 July 2024 to 20 September 2024.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will:
• Be prepared to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of their duties as a member of the Lumen Christi College community
• Have a minimum four years Tertiary qualification, which includes appropriate educational qualifications
Desirable
• A proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team
• An ability to assist with the development of community amongst staff, students and parents
• Demonstrated a willingness to be involved in the co-curricular life of the College
• A capacity to relate easily and professionally with students, parents and staff
