Lēoht is a new daytime dining space in Hobart’s iconic Battery Point village, opening in August 2024.
We’re looking for a confident and creative Head chef to lead the food offering and join our talented and collaborative team. We're also looking for a second chef who enjoys working closely with the lead, and has the appetite to contribute creatively also.
The opportunity
- Develop smart, seasonal menus that puts the quality, flavour and beauty of Tasmanian produce front and centre of each plate.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Menu costing, stock control and administration of kitchen items & labour.
- Meets compliance standards, costing & other business targets.
- Lead and inspire kitchen and FOH teams to get excited about the food we produce.
- Design your workplace and craft a menu representative of you and Tasmania.
