Civeo Australia are looking for experienced Head Chefs& Sous Chefs (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or trade certificate) to work closely with the Catering Managers & Village Managers to deliver exceptional food to our Villages across Western Australia. The primary focus of the role is to ensure a smooth and profitable kitchen operation for the village.

Experience & Essential Qualifications :
- 5+ years’ cumulative chef experience with at least 2+ years supervising and managing of a team of chefs & kitchen operations - preferably working in a large hotel or remote village environment (FIFO or DIDO)
- Experience with ordering, storing, preparing and delivering food service
- Strong experience in a bulk/batch cooking environment.
- Ordering, profit and wastage reporting
- Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery or Australian Trade certificate.
- Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment
- Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements
- Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications
- Budgetary and analytical skills
- Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.
