The Group/Venue
A well renowned Sydney restaurant group will be opening a new, upmarket, French Brasserie on Sydneys Northern Beaches.
A restaurant background in upmarket/ hatted French/ Modern Australian cuisines would be ideal but very open to backgrounds across different cuisines.

The Role

Due to open April to May this year, this venue will offer loads of challenge, creativity and also reward. We are seeking a Head Chef that is available to start shortly who can assist with menu development, set up, and recruitment for this stunning new venue. With a professional and supportive ownership, this is an awesome role for a career driven and growth oriented chef.

You
To be successful in your application, you will have:

  • Extensive A la carte experience & ability to execute an upmarket French menu, with a love for great produce and upmarket cuisine.
  • Strong abilities in training, mentoring and developing teams
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Passion for creating quality and consistency in every plate put out
  • Overall knowledge of operational & financial knowledge
  • The desire to grow and develop your career
  • Function/ event experience is a bonus
  • Hatted experience is a bonus
  • Desire to create & work in a collaborative team
