We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Cook to join our team. The Head Cook will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that the kitchen runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to work well under pressure. Candidate must qualified to at least the equivalent of Certificate III or IV Australian cookery standards plus at least 3 years experience after training.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards
Manage and train junior kitchen staff
Ensure that the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
Monitor food stock levels and order supplies as needed
Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Assist with the planning and execution of special events and catering functions
