They will develop and execute plans to identify, cultivate, and capitalise on new business opportunities in Enterprise Learning. The incumbent will be responsible for spearheading efforts to expand the university's reach, enhance its revenue streams, and solidify its position as a leader in enterprise education.
Detailed DescriptionAbout YouThe Head, EL Business Development will demonstrate UTS Enterprise Learning capabilities and benefits to prospects and customers and serve as a leader within this established and very promising marketplace.You will be responsible for driving new sales revenue by building and maintaining relationships with a set of accounts primarily located in Australia, across many vertical markets and industries. You will demonstrate continued customer focus by managing all aspects of the client relationship, including prospecting, qualification, and driving the sales process through to successful close.With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following six (6) key selection criteria points below:1. Comprehensive knowledge about the Enterprise Learning market and understanding of the design and delivery of learning solutions for government and/or corporate clients.2. Proven ability to engage, develop and grow lead generation activities and a healthy sales pipeline including documentation in the university's customer relationship management system and production of related management reports.3. Excellent negotiation skills with proven ability to utilise high level interpersonal, leadership and management skills to influence senior management and stakeholders as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes.4. Outstanding written and oral communication, and consultation skills, including an ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.5. Proven record of developing successful sales strategies, compelling tender or proposal responses, and leading their implementation to deliver revenue targets and enhanced engagement within Higher Education.6. Excellence in adopting and working with a highly collaborative mindset, expressing a genuine enthusiasm to support and enable colleagues and team success.
