Head Gardener

About the RoleAt Super Gardens, we create and maintain beautiful green spaces for families, communities and all to enjoy.Due to internal movement and gaining new contracts, we have a full-time opportunity available for an outstanding Gardener to join our team.ResponsibilitiesExperience in a similar role is essential, as your responsibilities will include:Garden services including pruning, weeding, leaf and rubbish removal;Identification and treatment of weeds, pests and diseases in both plants and turf;Planting, feeding and fertilisation of plants and turf assets;Assist with minor landscape upgrades;Assist with the day-to-day running of the irrigation systems including the reporting of faults and repairs to the system; andMaintain professional relationships with Super Gardens staff and external stakeholders.About YouThe successful candidate will have:Cert III in Horticulture or Parks and Gardens;Strong horticultural background in lawn and gardening maintenance;A manual driver's licence is preferred;Chemical Users licence (ACUP) is preferred; andKnowledge of irrigation systems is preferred.To succeed in this role, you will showcase your genuine passion for gardening, initiative and leadership skills while mentoring our apprentices and other grounds team members.BenefitsAs part of the Green by Nature team, you will reap the benefits of a flexible, dynamic, and growing workplace and enjoy access to an exclusive employee benefits platform that looks after your overall health and well-being including nutrition, exercise, mental health, and financial services, along with retail, travel and grocery shopping discounts.Our Team & Culture Discover Green by Nature, the merge of four leading landscape services businesses across Australia and New Zealand: Green Options, Super Gardens, Skyline Landscape Services, and Recreational Services.
