The ProjectNEWest Alliance is a multidisciplinary collaboration between CPB Contractors and DTI, working with the Public Transport Authority to deliver over $1.2 billion of works as part of METRONET.Across two projects (YRE and TCL), the Alliance will add 32 kilometres of track to Perth's rail network, 5 new stations and 3 station modifications as well as 14 kilometres of principal shared path.
Your OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior GIS Analyst reporting to Digital Engineering Manager to join our NEWest Alliance team in delivering the Thornlie-Cockburn Link.Our minimum requirements for this role are:
- Degree qualification in Geomatics, Surveying, Arts or Applied Science or demonstrated experience.
- Previous experience in spatial applications on a large multi-disciplined construction project/(s).
- Be able to demonstrate working knowledge with ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise and VertiGIS software products.
- Working Knowledge with Workflow and Python.
- Previous experience in Civil, Mining, Services and Process engineering projects work would be well-regarded.
- Effectively using and promoting the suite of spatial products across the company for spatial purposes.
- Providing technical project support in the spatial engineering areas of GIS Solutions, Asset Management, Mobile Mapping, and other spatial related applications.
- Planning, preparing, reviewing, and maintaining project spatial data using ArcGIS and compatible software and Web Services.
- Testing of spatial engineering systems and the integration of other systems.
- Develop industry leading systems and processes that add value without increasing workload.
- Demonstrate high resilience with strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external.
- Ability to self-manage with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication, and training/presentation skills.
- Ability to develop relationships, influence, mentor others and negotiate outcomes.
- Implementing and providing advice to projects regarding in-house spatial engineering systems and procedures
- Assist in the development of adequate training material, run training courses in the use of spatial tools and systems.
- Attend, participate and network in ESRI Conferences. Attend internal workshops and seminars related to the spatial industry.
- A collaborative and diligent attitude to project delivery and commitment to promoting a friendly team environment on site.
- Proven commitment to promoting safety, quality, and environment compliance on site.
- Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost, and risk.
Our Desirable requirements for this role are:
- Working knowledge of FME.
- Utilize and test mobile, desktop and server-based applications that are compatible with the CIMIC Group Spatial system.
