Works includes the construction of 14 kilometres of new lanes, bulk earthworks, retaining walls, bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028.Key accountabilities for the positionRun Pre-starts & tool box talks to communicate construction activities effectively to site based teamsSafety Management and maintaining safe systems and processes for everyone on siteEnvironmental ManagementQuality ManagementBe responsible for the efficient deployment of labour, plant and other resources to the area or areas of the project allocatedBe responsible for all works being planned and executed in a manner that meets or exceeds budget expectationsMaintain 2 week look ahead’s and provide input to further planning and programmingProactively support, guide and develop direct reports activelyFollow the approved construction sequences and methods prescribed in the approved Work-packsExhibit behaviors to foster a professional culture of integrity, respect and inclusivity in line with our Alliance & company valuesRequired Skills and CompetenciesYou will have considerable experience working on civil infrastructure projects as a supervisor ideally on major road projectsHighly effective communication skills with an ability to problem solve, collaborate and influenceAdvanced skills in program management, reporting, financial forecasting and digital savvyCurrent Drivers Licence, health and safety certification, white cardACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023 & 2024 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
