Auriga Aviation is seeking an experienced and suitably qualified Head of Aircraft Airworthiness & Maintenance Control (HAAMC) to join our leadership team.

Auriga Aviation has established itself as the industry leader in the provision of specialist Helicopter Marine Pilot Transfer (HMPT) services in Australia, operating a modern fleet of Airbus H135, H145 and H125 (AS350) helicopters.
Auriga Aviation currently conducts 24/7/365 operations primarily for maritime industry clients in Gladstone, Hay Point, Mackay, Newcastle, Karratha and Port Hedland.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The successful applicant will have relevant experience and knowledge to lead the Airworthiness & Maintenance Control organisation - developing and monitoring the effectiveness of our maintenance and reliability programs; airworthiness compliance; forecasting and planning of maintenance; coordination with internal and external engineering service providers, suppliers and regulatory authorities; overseeing technical records and database management.
It is essential that the HAAMC works collaboratively with all operational stakeholders to oversee, coordinate and advise on continuing airworthiness matters whilst considering safety, compliance, cost management, operational integrity, resources and clients,
The role is based in our Brisbane HEAD OFfice and may require occasional travel to other locations from time to time.
An extended transition period and ongoing support from the current HAAMC are also available as required.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role, you will have at least 3 years of relevant experience in a continuing airworthiness management function along with comprehensive regulatory and technical knowledge. Experience with medium/heavy lift multi-engine helicopters, and particularly the Airbus H135, H145 and/or AS350 types is an advantage.
Ideally you will also hold, or have held, an aircraft engineer licence B1, B2 or C (or equivalent) and/or relevant tertiary qualifications in aircraft maintenance or engineering.
Previous approval and experience as a Maintenance Controller would also be advantageous but is not essential.

The HAAMC is required to hold an ASIC and MSIC for the duration of their employment and may be subject to DAMP testing.
