This is a leadership position reporting to the ManagingDirector in Sydney, Australia.

Thisposition will suit a person with the following qualifications:
· Chartered Accountant or CertifiedAccounting Professional
· With experience in (1) leading andmanaging an office-based and remotely-connected team of accountants andbookkeepers, (2) end-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities and processes,including Receivables, Payables, Payroll, Fixed Assets, General Ledger andReporting, (3) use of cloud-based accounting software and ERP systems includingTranslogix and Ramco, and (4) providing accounting services to businesses of upto $200million turnover
· Results and business oriented,with a strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles
· Attention to detail and theability to process and analyse large amounts of data using spreadsheetssoftware
· Strong client relation and accountmanagement skills as this is a client facing role.
· Experience in a wide range of industries.
· Can work independently and withina team with minimal supervision
· Excellent oral and written Englishcommunication skills
· Proven ability to deliver qualityresults in a timely and efficient manner

YourRole
AsHead of Bookkeeping and Compliance, you will develop and lead our team ofGeneral Accountants. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensure the provision of highquality bookkeeping services (such as processing transactions for sales andreceivables, expenses and payments, accruals and other adjustments,reconciliations, end-of-month and end-of-year journals using accountingsoftware such as Myob, QuickBooks and Xero) efficiently and in accordance withagreed Service Level parameters with the client.
2. Lead and manage the bookkeepingstaff and ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to performtheir duties accurately and efficiently.
3. Provide guidance, training, andsupport to bookkeeping staff to maintain consistent quality and accuracy intheir work.
4. Conduct performance evaluationsand provide feedback to team members.
5. Develop and implement accountingpolicies and procedures that ensure compliance of clients with all applicablelaws and regulations.
6. Identify areas for processimprovements and implement solutions to enhance the accuracy and efficiency ofbookkeeping processes.
7. Collaborate with otherdepartments, such as finance, operations, and management, to ensure accurateand timely exchange of financial information.
Salary Range of AU$90,000 - AU$100,000 pa
