HERE'S WHERE YOU COME IN: Reporting into the Managing Director Guidant Global the Head of Contractor Management Solutions APAC plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the end-to-end operational delivery of services to the entire cohort of Guidant Global customers including new customers in order to ensure both short and long-term commercial relevance. Whilst the preference is for the role to be Sydney based, consideration for candidates residing in QLD and VIC will also be well regarded.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Lead, manage and motivate a strong performing Contractor Management Team (CMT) to continue to exceed performance expectations
- Manage team and individual performance matters.
- Ensure the CMT continues to deliver efficient functions and processes that align with our clients and contractor’s expectations and relevant legislation.
- Review, challenge, and improve frameworks and systems.
- Continue to develop further opportunities to be an industry best practice leader through participation in industry forums and activities.
- Manage operational planning to deliver against strategic goals and participate in risk reporting.
- Understand and advise on relevant employment legislation and the company’s WHSE policies, standards, and procedures.
- Act as the 2IC escalation point for issues and complaints.
- Identify threats, opportunities, and areas of commercial advantage in the marketplace.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING?
On your first day with us you will be able to demonstrate your:
- 5 years proven people leadership experience (direct team(s)management)
- Working knowledge of the National Employment Standards
- Demonstrated experience of excellence in customer service delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed communication skills along with your reputation for outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong Commercial acumen and demonstrated experience managing profitability of a business function including P& management /forecasting.
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask and juggle multiple priorities.
- Computer Literacy:
Intermediate-Advanced Microsoft Office skills;
competent user of email, internet, and HR systems
NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE
- Experience/strong understanding of Human Resources and Industrial Relations
- Experience interpreting Modern Awards
- 2+ years experience in providing ER advise (contractor workforce experience advantageous)
