The Head of Learning Area - English & Languages should lead and support staff to plan, deliver, monitor, assess and evaluate differentiated teaching and learning programs to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment within the English & Languages Department.The successful applicant will ideally possess extensive successful experience in supporting and building the capacity of their staff through coaching and mentoring processes. They will, ideally, display high level skills and knowledge of curriculum, coaching, professional learning delivery and school operations. The successful applicant will have outstanding communication and organisational skills, resilience and the proven ability to lead staff to effectively implement the Western Australian curriculum, guiding teachers and students to achieve excellence in well-established Australian Tertiary Admissions Ranks (ATAR) and General Courses.
