Kedron State High School are seeking applications for a Head of Department (Secondary) to join their school community on a temporary full-time basis, for a period of 12 months, unless otherwise determined.
The successful candidate will lead a large faculty to plan, implement and review curriculum and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching and learning programs to enhance learning outcomes.
Applicants will have the capacity for strong faculty leadership with a focus on high impact professional learning that inspires and builds the capacity of teachers with a diverse range of skills and experiences.

As the Head of Department - Mathematics, you will have responsibility for the following:
- Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
