About Northern Beaches State School
Northern Beaches State High School has grown to become the premier school of choice for parents and students in the rapidly growing Northern Beaches area of Townsville. Until the High School opened in 1997, students had been forced to go all the way into town to continue their secondary schooling, meaning long days travelling on buses.

About the Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Lead the school department to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
Set high standards for student and staff performance.
Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
