People are at the heart of our success, and we have a current opportunity for a Head of IT Business Systems - Corporate , impacting the strategic direction and ongoing transformation of our Corporate Technology business unit, predominantly supporting our Finance, HR and People functions.

You will be a true Technology Business Partner, as the conduit between key business stakeholders and our technology specialists, overseeing the delivery of technology programs and architecture outcomes that will support ongoing Ampol Finance and HR strategy & operations.

In a varied Leadership role, encompassing systems strategy definition, program execution and ongoing operational excellence, you’ll take us further by: 

• Develop and maintain the Corporate Systems Technology roadmap and strategic vision, ensuring the divisional strategy is aligned with the Enterprise 
• Managing existing applications in use by our Corporate lines of business, including incident, problem, change, disaster recovery preparation and risk management 
• Actively manage the portfolio of programs within HR, Finance and Corporate Systems, working closely with stakeholders, vendors and internal teams; overseeing delivery throughout the project lifecycle 
• Influence senior level stakeholders and project teams through change management initiatives 
• Provide leadership and direction to the technology department as part of the Technology Leadership Team and strive to continually improve the delivery of Technology Services across the whole of Ampol.
• Commercially manage $20M per annum with key strategic suppliers and ensure contractual obligations are met
• Collaborate with and influence senior business stakeholders to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support Information Technology solutions to achieve current and future business strategies and objectives.
• Provide effective leadership to create an engaged and capable team, and appropriately scale the team in order to meet project demands
• Managing 3rd party vendors, ensuring effective commercial relationships & performance, and developing strong internal partnerships within Ampol, acting as a commercial and pragmatic thought leader to business stakeholders 

About You: 

• A proven track record of leading IT strategy & projects related to HR, Finance & Corporate Technologies within an Enterprise environment.
• Extensive experience in Senior IT/Business Partnership roles, developing and owning the delivery of technology roadmaps and strategic plans.
• Solid experience working with outsource and other third parties. 
• Proven experience and track record in the successful implementation of IT projects and the on-going lifecycle
• Experience building business cases and financial models to facilitate decisions around a project’s viability
• Management of large Opex and Capex budgets, forecasting and business value measurement. 
• Ability to take an industry and enterprise perspective.
• Ability to lead a team through ambiguity and a changing business landscape
