Lighthouse Christian School is an independent, co-educational school, Kindy to year 12. The school, founded in 1993, is currently experiencing rapid enrolment growth.

The Head of Junior Secondary (Y7-9) is a member of the school's Educational Leadership Team and is responsible to the Principal for the educational leadership, pastoral care and organisational culture of Junior Secondary.
The role includes a teaching load of of approximately 0.3 FTE.
Commencement:
Ideally, our new Head of Junior Secondary will commence on 1 July 2024, however this will be negotiated with the successful applicant.

The successful applicant will be:
- an experienced and effective educational leader, ideally in an independent secondary school context;
- an effective written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
- committed to a culture of continuous school improvement;
- a practicing Christian with a living, active faith.
Applicants will have a current teacher registration through Queensland College of Teachers.
