About the role

Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members’ world better. As Head ofBusiness Enablement, your role will be to lead the Member division’s contribution to deliver transformation across the Member Division and establish divisional support and enablement capability that will facilitate the delivery of high-quality services to members.

The role will also develop centralised capability in the Member Division that includes Governance and reporting, financial performance and budgeting, change prioritisation and continuous improvement activities, strategic workforce planning and knowledge management. In addition, you will collaborate and co-create with Member Division and other Business Unit Heads develop member strategies and execute on divisional plans.

This role requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of operational best practices to optimise performance and achieve business objectives.

Key accountabilities will include: 

  • Develop and execute the business unit strategy and business plan, ensuring
  • Develop and execute the business unit strategy and business plan, ensuring collaboration and alignment with Member Leadership Group (MLG) and other key stakeholders across ART to achieve the divisional and enterprise strategy.
  • Drive integration, change, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver on divisional capability and efficiencies across the Member division.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enable business growth and efficiency within Member Division, aligning with overall enterprise objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement solutions to improve productivity, quality and cost effectiveness.
  • Drive divisional change by championing a culture of continuous improvement and providing leadership and support for change initiatives.
  • Foster a team culture that supports innovation, collaboration, and trust. Work within a team environment, providing assistance in the management and leadership of the team, ensuring alignment of deliverables and outcomes for the success of the division.

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

  • Proven experience in senior leadership role driving operational excellence initiatives in a complex environment
  • Proven experience in leading large scale change, managing multiple concurrent inter-related initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of process improvement techniques (eg Agile) and change management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Project management and finance experience, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives from conception to implementation.
  • Proven ability to align the Business Enablement and outcomes to the delivery of solutions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal including complex board/executive level interaction and negotiation.
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, coach, motivate and mentor team members to advocate a positive and satisfying work environment. This includes working with team members from diverse backgrounds and promoting a safe and inclusive workplace.
