Working across Australia and New Zealand Operations covering the 9 Manufacturing facilities, 4 Logistics sites and 2 offices, this role leads the systematic identification, assessment and active management of all EHS functional responsibilities i.e.
Safety & Health,
Workers Compensation
Environmental Compliance,
ESG - Net Zero program
Business Continuity,
Asset Conservation (FM Global),
Facility Security

Position responsibilities
Lead the Manufacturing & warehouse Net Zero journey, across ANZ in conjunction with the Global Strategy for Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.
Deploy the strategy, policies, plans and procedures for Region and ensures the attainment of the company’s EHS goals.
Deploy the Global KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) to drive Continuous Improvement supported by Strong Processes
Collaborate and influence senior Leadership in developing and supporting the Regional Risk Reduction strategy, Net Zero strategy and site-based programs.
Co-partner with site managers to inspire the Health and Safety teams, fostering a culture of motivation, encouragement, and continuous development to create a high performing team environment.
To consult and collaborate with country managers to develop action plans which involve the workforce to foster a culture of continuously improving workplace EHS.
Ensure efficient collection and distribution of operational risk training and information that is in the right format, on time and to the right personnel to enable effective risk reduction.
Provide specialist information and/or advice to management and employees, and access external specialist resources as required for all EHS matters.
Liaise with Global EHS team to share best practice and ensure Kraft Heinz obligations and requirements are met.
Skills/Technical Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of workers’ compensation, environment law and OH&S legislation across Australia and New Zealand
Technical expert to interpret legislative requirements into actionable programs.
Applies state-of-the-art technical knowledge to projects when leading teams.
Decision making, influencing stakeholders and Navigating the Organization
Communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal and external people at all levels.
