About the role
Moorabool Shire is looking for an enthusiastic individual to carry out the role of authorised officer within the Community Safety team. Duties would include effective and efficient inspections and administrative duties, functions, and responsibilities in the delivery of Community Safety and regulatory services to the community.
You would also be required to deliver a range of Community Safety and regulatory services that meet customer expectations with a focus on cost effective and efficient service delivery and a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

About you
To be considered for this position, ideally you will have completed a Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance), Certificate IV in Animal Regulation or similar qualification, and possess experience in the interpretation of legislation, regulations and local laws.
We are seeking someone who has well-developed interpersonal communication skills, superior community engagement and customer service, conflict resolution and negotiation skills and experience in dealing with difficult situations.
