Job DescriptionThis is a 12-14 month Parental Leave Contract role pending start date - can be Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne based. Our Head of People & Culture will be heading on Parental Leave at the end of June, so ideally you will be able to start end of May / early June.As the Head of People & Culture (P&C), you will be responsible for leading the P&C team through the successful design and delivery of the P&C strategy across Australia and Malaysia, ensuring alignment with the business’s overall goals and objectives.With the company going through a period of massive growth, you will be hands-on, actively involved in helping the P&C team to attract, on-board, develop, manage and retain our valued employees. By coaching and supporting the P&C team, you will enable them to grow and develop their skills and knowledge and assist them in delivering value-adding service across the entire employee lifecycle. You will also be responsible for the planning, design and execution of specific P&C initiatives and programs ranging from attraction and engagement, learning and development, talent management, reward and benefits, DEI, and improving the overall employee experience.As a senior leader, you will work collaboratively with the business to drive P&C initiatives, as well as provide advice and guidance to our senior leadership and Executive teams across all People & Culture related issues and opportunities.QualificationsYou will be an out of the box thinker, passionate about all things people and culture, with a problem-solving mentality and a focus on continuous improvement. With prior HR management experience, you will have strong capabilities across all HR generalist functions and a sound understanding of employment legislation. Ideally you will have experience working in various industries across small, medium and large organisations, prior experience working across Asia is advantagoues.
