Join the team
Kmart's Customer Technology team are focusing on customising and digitalising the customer offerings, through advanced technologies, innovation, and strategic initiatives. As the Head of Product you will be responsible for aligning the teams and systems together to help drive and deliver on Kmart's vision. You will be constantly looking for new ways of working, leading through innovation, and has a strong understanding of using modern technologies to drive outcomes.
You will work alongside other senior leaders across the Kmart Group, and act as a thought leader for systems, process, and people.
To be successful in this role you'll have:
- You will have experience as a Head of Product, Product Lead or equivalent
- An obsession for customers with a passion to solve problems in ways our customers will love
- Leadership of the Product capability further embedding product roles and responsibilities and establishing an effective product function across the end-to-end customer value stream
- Proven ability to create a product vision and product strategy, incorporating business strategic objectives, customer needs and market trends
- Work with stakeholders and organizational sponsors to align on strategic objectives and deliver incremental value in-line with investment profile
- You're able to drive customer success by establishing an OKR framework for evaluating product success, including the what and the why, ensuring products meet commercial objectives
- You can demonstrate a solid understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery; agile product management; strong business sense and have a passion for solving problem
- Can lead and directly manage a high achieving team, delivering successful results for the organisation, and as such coach others to become better leaders
- Experience working with stakeholders and executives in a large corporate environment, ideally in retail
- Can handle all important communication about your product because you can write and talk clearly about the product, and present confidently to any audience company-wide
