We are seeking an experienced Head of Product for the digital case management system (CMS) project. The Head of Product will create a whole of the department's CMS product vision and roadmap that will establish consistency of processes and experiences across the department's operations through considered design and engagement practices. The Head of Product will assist in designing and embedding a new program delivery model that supports the best practice product management and delivery and play a key role in the development of the project plan to be influenced by business value priorities and operational transition needs. The position will draw on existing teams (user experience, process design, architecture) for the completion of their deliverables, as well as managing existing product owners as well as the recruitment of new ones.
Key Accountabilities
- Engage with the departments' Executives, Members and Stakeholders on the strategic roadmap for digital case management and translating this into detailed annual/quarterly/sprint delivery plans (funded) or investment recommendations (unfunded)
- Define an MVP for the funded program of work through consultation with stakeholders, and provide levers (scope, budget) to achieve the desired whole of Department Case Management MVP for governance consideration.
- Review and update the business transition approach for the program through a consultation process with executives, users and stakeholders, making recommendations to the Program Board.
- Assist the Project Horizon Director in the definition and implementation of the future program delivery model led by the department and augmented where needed.
- Define, get agreement on and embed the size and composition of the product function for the digital transformation program.
- Define the product ownership approach within the department and reflect this within a playbook for dissemination to the team and stakeholders.
- Review the requirements traceability management processes and implement best practices for the ongoing management of requirements.
- Support the ED Experience, Strategy & Transformation in defining the future continuous improvement model for the CMS
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in waterfall, agile (incl SAFe) and combination project methodologies
- Experience in a Head Of Product role within a substantial digital portfolio
- Experience in CRM projects, with MS Dynamics experience highly desirable
- Must be proficient in Jira, DevOps
