We have recently redesigned our property services function to align with Fresh Hope Communities’ future oriented strategic intent. We’ve identified a number of key priorities for this function to ensure our building compliance is strong; our preventative maintenance works are well planned; process and procedures for reactive maintenance are responsive and appropriate; and that our property services team have a clear framework to deliver expected outcomes.
The opportunity:
- Provide direction and vision for process design and implementation across our diverse property portfolio, asset management programs, services, and projects.
- Contribute to an organisation focused on cultivating spaces for belonging for our customers in Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living, Affordable Housing and Group Accommodation.

Key focus areas:
- Can you picture yourself developing and implementing a facility and asset management strategy across Fresh Hope Communities?
- Do you enjoy identifying and overseeing improvement programs to reduce risk, save costs, collaborate with multiple stakeholders and influence others to drive great outcomes?
- Do you understand the need to maintain high standards of safety, quality and compliance at all facilities?
- Are you great at working with contractors to ensure their performance meets client and business unit needs and agreed performance standards?

- Qualifications in business management, engineering, facilities management or extensive relevant experience
- 8 - 10 years’ experience in management of facilities and asset management
- Significant knowledge and demonstrated experience in managing preventative maintenance and refurbishment projects utilising a defined and standardised project management approach
- Strong understanding of BCA standards, legislative and compliance requirements, developing asset management plans and contractor management
- Outcomes focus and strong understanding of utilities and facilities infrastructure management
- Demonstrated team leadership and management skills, fostering a collaborative, high engagement, high performance culture
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
