Position Vacant (Maternity Relief) Based in Young
Customer Service/Depot Hand
Start July 2024 (20 hrs a week)
Monday- Friday 12:00pm – 4:00pm
Key responsibilities include:
This role will see you adding significant value through (but not limited to):
- Freight sorting
- Scanning freight
- Dispatching freight using a computer
- Using a hand held scanner for freight scans
- Depot duties
- Sorting and dealing with Problem freight in computer system
- Customer Service
- Proactive self starter and be able to work without supervision
- Willing to learn new skills
- You must be able to work as a team player and be good with people
To be successful in this role:
- Physically fit be able to lift up to 20kg
- Must be reliable, trustworthy, highly organised and be passionate about achieving results.
- Great attitude – willing to roll up the sleeves and take on what's needed to be successful in the role
- Self-motivated - professional able to achieve results working without close management and focused on learning
- High degree of attention to detail
- Willing to learn new procedures when required
- Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
- Customer focused - easily establishes credibility and genuine service commitment.
- Excellent phone manner and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and in a fast-paced environment
- Computer skills and able to use technology.
