Position Overview:

As the Head of Technology for the Messaging Platform, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the technology stack and driving the development of cutting-edge software solutions. You will lead a talented team of software engineers, architects, and developers to create and enhance a robust messaging platform that leverages modern technologies and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:
   
   • Develop and execute a technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
   • Provide strategic guidance on technology choices and platform architecture.
2. Team Leadership:
   
   • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing software development team.
   • Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture that encourages continuous learning and growth.
3. Software Development:
   
   • Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
   • Drive the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance messaging solutions.
4. Innovation and Research:
   
   • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
   • Encourage a culture of innovation and experimentation within the technology team.
5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
   
   • Collaborate with product management, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Technology initiatives with business goals.
6. Quality Assurance:
   
   • Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices.
   • Implement robust testing and quality assurance processes.

• Proven experience as a technology leader in software development, with a focus on messaging platforms or related technologies.
• Strong technical background, with expertise in modern software development languages and frameworks.
• Experience leading and managing high-performance software development teams.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud-based technologies and scalable architecture.
• Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in software development leadership roles.
