Head Of Technology

The Head of Technology you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the technology strategy for the Group. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the client technology solutions, ensuring it aligns with the organisation's goals and industry best practices.

You will provide technical leadership and make decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the Group. You'll manage a technology budget and make investments to align the Group with our vision for our technological needs. The role requires a strategic thinker, effective communicator, and expertise in technological development.

The role would suit a candidate who is looking to step up a level, coming from (for example) a Project Manager/Program Manager background, or an Applications Manager / Business Systems Manager background.

Skill set / Experience needed -

· Experience working in Financial Services (Wealth Management, Asset Management, Lending, Credit)

· Leadership of both onshore and offshore resources - BA's, Testers, Developers

· Strong pedigree in Project Management (Delivery of technical projects)

· Proven experience in Application Development (Salesforce & Azure) - Finance platforms

· Vendor management - MSP & Software providers

· Comfortable working in a fast paced, unstructured environment

· Used to working with C level and pushing back when required

· Skills as a doer, an advisor, and a thought leader that can positively influence colleagues

· Ability to constantly educate yourself with the latest technological advances (plus the creation of POC's)

CBD based offices, working 4 days in office, 1 day from home.
