Base salary: $72,637 - $80,827 (p.a.)
Total effective package: $91,437 - $100,652 (p.a.)*
Full Time, 12 Month Maximum Term Contract (with the possibility for extension)
headspace is a National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing primary and mental health, alcohol and drug services, social welfare and vocational services to all young people aged 12 - 25 years to access to develop and maintain the skills and confidence to live healthy and happy lives.
headspace Alice Springs is managed by the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress and includes a multidisciplinary team including General Practitioners, Psychologists, Youth Engagement Officer and an Administration Coordinator.

About the roleAn exciting position best suited to someone young at heart who is confident to present workshops to teenage attendees. The successful candidate is someone who can effectively cooperate to organise events and promote the voice of young people in a youth setting.
The Community Engagement Officer works in partnership with young people, families and key Stakeholders to advocate and raise awareness of mental health and alcohol and other drug issues to raise the profile and awareness of headspace services. The position coordinates and delivers community awareness activities, promotions and educational presentations around Alice Springs.
