Training Specialist - Health & Safety, you will play a pivotal role delivering comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance with
Health and Safety regulations, as well as fostering a culture of safety awareness throughout the organisation. You will work with new and existing line leaders to increase organisational knowledge in the Workplace Heath
and Safety regulations. You will collaborate with various departments to assess training needs, design engaging and effective training materials, and facilitate interactive training sessions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of training content.
- Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, both in-person and virtually.
- Work with stakeholders to update and continually improve learning resources to ensure currency, validity and support new learning delivery techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and metrics analysis.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees and managers regarding Health and Safety Training requirements and resources.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices in Health and Safety Training.
Qualifications and Experience- Occupational Health & Safety qualifications
- Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE 40116)
- Proven experience as a Training Specialist, preferably in the Health and Safety field.
- Supervisory experience, in particular in the mining industry is desirable
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms preferred.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
