About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Calvary Launceston. This is a part-time position up to 0.8FTE working across both St Luke's and St Vincent's campuses. The successful applicant will support Physiotherapist, Occupational therapists and Social Workers working across the rehabilitation, medical and surgical wards.
Your main duties will include:
Supporting therapists run group and individual therapy sessions, and carrying out patient programs prescribed by therapists
Administrative support for the Allied Health Department including audits, data entry and preparation of pt information packs
Supporting the therapy team with the setup/pack up, cleaning, maintenance and ordering of various equipment and supplies
About you
Recognised certificate III or IV training in Allied Health Assistance
Current Australian Drivers license
Excellent communication skills
Sound computer literacy
Experience working within the hospital setting advantageous
