We are seeking casual applications from suitably qualified Health Care Workers to work in Aged Care at 70 Lowe Street.

70 Lowe Street is a 45 bed residential aged care facility. Our aged care services focus on the individual, their family, friends and community. Individualised care is assured by identifying the resident’s personal preferences and interest in all areas across the social and clinical spectrum. We have adopted the Montessori environment to provide purpose and stimulation through everyday activities. This approach supports our residents to live their lives to the fullest and make the most of the services we have to offer.
What we OfferAbout the Role
Applicants must show a commitment to the provision of care which focuses on the elderly and demonstrate a sound level of nursing skills, working within safe practice principles.
Working under the direction of the nursing staff duties include:
- Provide personal care needs to residents
- Communicating any relevant clinical information in a timely manner
- Knowledge of, and ability to follow safe manual handling practices
- As required assist with showering/bathing, feeding and toileting of residents
- Completion of regulatory care plans and documentation.
The successful applicant must:
- Must hold a relevant qualification of Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community).
- Be team oriented, and be able to work alone
- Have a high level of customer service
- Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Be flexible to the jobs needs
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19) and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
