About the role:
Support workers required to support our participants with disabilities in their day to day life, whether it be community access, personal care, or even just assisting them at home with everyday household chores. Support worker must have their Cert IV in Mental Health and have experience working with participants with complex needs.
Attributes:
- Previous experience with Mental Health and behavioural management (essential)
- The demonstration of experience and willingness to work with people who have complex support needs.
- A team player who is motivated and passionate, with the ability to be flexible and reliable
- Someone who can assist in providing choice and control to all participants.
Essential Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Mental Health (Essential)
- NDIS Orientation Modules
- Current Driver’s License
- Reliable Vehicle
- Previous experience with Mental Health and behavior management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
