The role will be at a Danny Met Sally SIL Home in Murrumbeena (VIC) supporting a client with complex menta health needs. Staff will be assisting the client with ADLs including personal care, domestic assistance, meal prep, medications, manual handling, and community access.
The participant has serious behaviours of concern and staff will also need to be competent in implementing restrictive practises.
About You
- Minimum 12 months experience in Mental Health and disability .
- Experience working in Supported Independent Living accommodation.
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Mental Health, Disability, Aged Care, Nursing etc.
- Knowledge of Behaviour support plans and Restrictive Practices.
- Manual Handling Certificate.
- Medication Administration Certificate.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Driver’s License & own car with comprehensive insurance.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
