The core capability requirements for this role are:
Develop and conduct evidence based physical health screening on QPS staff as part of Queensland Police Service's Corporate Health Program (HealthStart) including interpretation of health assessment outcomes and management of possible contraindications
Design, implement and evaluate complex health and wellbeing projects within set timeframes and budget, individually or within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Self-manage workload to deliver professional level nutrition and dietetic services to QPS members within a multidisciplinary team environment, in accordance with professional and ethical standards
Provide professional advice to influence the decision makers including Senior Management and peers, especially in the monitoring, development, and delivery of complex specialist programs
Provide independent professional consultancy services to QPS member, industry representatives and other stakeholders to assist with overall wellbeing of members
Prepare complex reports using the analysis of data gathered to inform the evaluation of programs and strategies delivered at state-wide and local geographic locations
Develop and conduct presentations, seminars and training programs and design and implement educational strategies for a diverse range of clients, including Senior Management
Work closely with the various Safety and Wellbeing teams and the leadership team members on a range of activities to enable a coordinated and informed approach to the delivery of wellbeing services to the QPS

Qualification:
Possession of a degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from a recognised tertiary institution, or equivalent qualifications from a tertiary institution

Possession of a C Class Drivers Licence is desirable
