As the sole Health Information Manager (HIM) at Broadmeadows Hospital, you will play a pivotal role in managing Health Information systems, overseeing the efficient operation of the Health Information Services (HIS) department, and serving as a key liaison with various stakeholders across the site. You will be Collaborating with the Associate Director of HIS to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing Health Information management practices. You will be also acting as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders across the hospital site, including clinicians, administrators, and external agencies.This a Full Time - Permanent role based in our Broadmeadows CampusTo be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelors degree in Health Information Management
- A proven track record in managing and leading teams
- Experience optimizing ward clerk operations
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to represent Health Information Management at internal and external forums
