The Role:
Bundoora Health Information Services - Computer Clerk- 48 Hours per Fortnight (6 x 8hr shifts) Operational Hours: 8:30am-5pm. Weekdays ONLY
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Computer Clerk to join the Health Information Services team at Northern Health. Shifts will be predominately at the Bundoora Centre, however staff may be required to work across other Northern Health campuses where required.
This role involves working with medical records, including the preparation, scanning, archiving and culling of patient Health Information, quality assurance activities, clerical duties, and main hospital reception break cover at Bundoora.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Health Information Services / Hospital or Medical Reception experience is preferred
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Experience in document management and scanning
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Understanding of the privacy and confidentiality policies
