The Role
Join us in a pivotal role that offers technical expertise and vision, supporting Health Management strategies that seamlessly align with our ambitious business objectives.
As the Injury Management Advisor, you will serve as the driving force behind proactive and complex health case management and advice, expertly guiding our business with care and commercial acumen. You will work with internal teams pivotal to supporting the health of our people, including safety and wellbeing, HR case management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and with external partners. Using your expert knowledge and experience, you will help guide strategic solutions and coach others to continuously improve our delivery of Health Management, workers' compensation, and early intervention services.

What you'll do
- Serve as a subject matter expert for technical queries, offering specialist advice on complex health cases including work/non-work related matters and workers' compensation
- Drive proactive outcomes-based interventions with your cases, including a focus on risk management and compliance
- Coach and mentor team members to support their growth in areas like critical thinking skills, strategic problem solving and outcome delivery
- Contribute subject matter expertise to projects and initiatives, influencing continuous improvement and best practice
- Deliver excellent customer service by efficiently managing cases while fostering strong stakeholder relationships
- Participate in round tables and claims reviews, addressing technical aspects of Health Management for strategic outcomes
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with team objectives and value proposition delivery
- A degree qualification within Allied Health or related fields
- 5+ years of experience within the personal injury management or workers compensation field
- Attention to detail, critical thinking skills, and an aptitude for working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills for second-to-none problem-solving and strategic solutions
- Exceptional communication skills
- A passion for coaching and mentoring
